Finals… Learning to Trust Him

Finals are coming up around the corner. Lucky for me I don’t have any tests, but I do have lots of projects and papers due! I learned a lesson last week that I should have learned in the beginning of the semester. I can’t do anything with out Jesus. Yep so dumb right. I always tell myself this but I wasn’t really living it out. I came to this conclusion because I was doing my super fun (not really they are pretty terrible) statistics quizzes that you need to get a 9/10 on in order to get an A in the class. I did one quiz 6 times and could only get a 7/10. That whole night I was super mad and in a terrible mood (poor Neil he had to deal with the wrath of Amy).

Then the next morning not wanting to finish doing these quizzes but my grade depending on them I asked God “please help me! I can’t do this on my own, only you can do this.” “Magically” the next 2 quizzes I took I got a 9/10 on the first try and I was all done which allowed me to get other things on my agenda done. Yep He is so good! Luckily I realize this in my first semester of grad school and from now on I will be making sure to rely on Him!
