Homemade Natural Anti-Frizz Serum

Homemade Natural Anti-Frizz Serum

Recently, we switched hosting providers on the blog.  I didn’t realize when you do that and you’re in the midst of the switch, everything you do might not move over. That being said, I had this post all written out – and it was totally hilarious, if I don’t say so myself. But, it was deleted, and I just don’t think this post will be as witty as it was. So, I’m sorry now. Okay, so anyway, back to this homemade, natural anti-frizz serum.  After having August, I had some pretty bad postpartum hair loss, which is finally growing back. Praise the Lord.

See… I ain’t lying folks.

Hair Loss

But, of course, it’s growing back in super awkward, no less. I already have crazy hair to begin with, but add weird baby hair sprouts on top of that… forget about it. Almost nothing can save them now. They are not long enough to fit into a pony tail and too short for a headband. Those baby hair sprouts are always waving “heyyyy” and it isn’t cool. That’s where this homemade, natural anti-frizz serum comes in. It helps tame those flyways. Last week, I shared this homemade natural hair gel that I absolutely love, and I love pairing it with the anti-frizz serum. Oh, and just in case you missed what my hair looks like without product in it… here you go.

Frizzy hair

You’re welcome. Let’s hope that doesn’t give you nightmares at night. This natural anti-frizz serum is made from three natural ingredients you might even have on hand. Castor oil, sweet almond oil, and olive oil. They help to nourish the hair and seal the cuticle.

Ingredients:

Directions:

In a small bowl, mix ingredients together and put into a small container or medicine dropper (Like this one).

To use:

Place a drop or two on your fingers and rub into hair. I like to start from the tips and go to the roots. Pair this with this awesome DIY natural hair gel to have amazing curls. *Since this is made from oil, it can make your hair greasy if you use too much. Always start with a small amount and find what works for your hair.

  1. I had that crazy postpartum hair loss and regrowth too! My hair is bone straight, so the new growth in the front just stuck up straight. Just what you need when you’re already tired and your figure has changed and you need a little boost anyway…! I’m glad I’m not the only one who has dealt with this!
