DIY Beauty for Pennies
The other day I had posted about DIY cleaning recipes and thought it would be a great idea to post all the DIY beauty products I use! They are safe, natural, non toxic, eco friendly, and super super cheap to make all these products! The only thing that I use that is not on here is soap, because I make my own goat’s milk soap. No tutorial yet….
Enjoy!

Love, love, love the homemade tips/recipes!!! Found you on homemaker on a dime. I am all about making what I can at home but have been afraid to venture out and try a lot of things!

This post looks wonderful ~ I’ve pinned it to my pinterest as I hope to come back sometime & have a really good look at all your links. I’m slowly beginning to tentatively make my own products which is so fun!

Wow! Thanks so much for the collection! This would be great for people who are experiencing allergies. Its nice to know what’s in something you’re putting on your skin! If you have the time, I’d love for you to share on Sweet Sharing Monday! http://saynotsweetanne.com/2012/sweet-sharing-monday-3/
Exactly I couldn’t say it better myself! I have very sensitive skin and these work great for it! Just shared it! Thanks Kayla!
Where did you get the glass jar with a pump for the had soap?
I found it on someone else’s blog. You can learn how to make it here . I have seen them already made in antique stores before tho.
Aw, shoot, I was hoping that beautiful dish of white goop was a facial cleanser. Do you have one of those?? 🙂
Sorry! I use homemade goats milk soap as my facial cleanser! I have not posted how to make that yet! Hopefully that post will be sometime in the near future!
I use honey. There are a ton of ideas out there about it and it takes so little effort. I started getting bad acne when I was pregnant with my second child (she’s almost 2!) and tried all kinds of things to clear it up. This is the only one that worked for me. I have heard that it can be drying tho. I just use a dab of coconut oil as moisturizer and no worries. 🙂 Just make sure you aren’t allergic BEFORE you put it on your face. Loving your blog!!!
Thats a great tip Diane I’ve never heard of just using honey! I’m glad you like it!
