Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of all natural no sugar added juice preferably organic
  • 1 cup pureed fruit
  • 1/4 cup gelatin from grass fed cows
  • 1-2 Tbs honey preferably local

Instructions

  • Reserve 1/2 cup juice in a bow, mix in gelatin (will become a bit fluffy), and set aside.
  • Puree fruit (I used fresh peaches) with a splash of fruit juice until you make one cup.
  • Mix in the rest of the juice and honey, and place in a saucepan.
  • Heat juice and fruit mixture on low to medium heat, stirring frequently.
  • After the fruit mixture has been cooking about 5 minutes and has reduced slightly, whisk it into the gelatin mixture until completely combined.
  • Pour into parchment lined a glass dish or cookie sheet, or a silicon mold.
  • Refrigerate at least 1-2 hours.
  • Cut fruit snacks into squares or into long 2 inch strips to roll up.
  • Refrigerate until ready to eat.

Notes

These last about 3-4 days in the fridge! I preferred the poured and cut into squares over the fruit roll up like fruit snacks.
