Gingerbread Hot Chocolate

This homemade gingerbread hot chocolate is a rich hot chocolate recipe with hints of warm spices and gingerbread flavor.

INGREDIENTS

- Whole milk - Cocoa powder - Maple syrup - Vanilla extract - Ground cinnamon - Clove - Ginger - Nutmeg

To begin, heat your milk in a small saucepan over  medium-low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.

As the milk warms, whisk in the cocoa powder, vanilla extract, maple syrup, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and a pinch of salt and nutmeg.

Continue whisking until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Heat until the desired temperature is reached without bringing the drink to a boil or simmer.
