Simple Apple Syrup With Brown Sugar

- Brown sugar - Water - Vanilla - Cinnamon

In a medium saucepan or skillet over medium heat, combine the sugar, water, and spices.


Wash the apples. Peel, if desired. Remove the core and seeds, then chop them into small pieces.


Add the apples to the mixture. Place the pot over low to medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.


Once simmering, reduce to a lower heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the syrup has thickened to desired consistency.


After simmering, remove the pot from the heat and let the hot syrup cool slightly.
