Instructions
Begin by washing the tomatoes under cool water.
After patting them dry gently with a clean kitchen towel or air dry, cut them into evenly sized slices or chunks, depending on your preference.
Remove the fresh burrata cheese from its packaging and place it on a cutting board.
Using a sharp knife, carefully slice the burrata into smaller pieces, ensuring each portion will be easy to enjoy.
On a serving platter, arrange the tomato slices or chunks, and then gently place the burrata on top.
Top with fresh basil leaves.
Add a generous drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar to the top of the tomatoes and cheese.
Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Notes
Make sure to choose juicy, ripe tomatoes for your salad.
Don't be afraid to experiment with different types of tomatoes.
Be generous with the basil.
Don't skimp on the olive oil. A high-quality extra virgin olive oil will bring richness and depth to the dish.
