This is possibly the easiest chicken recipe ever! It is so tasty and literally fell off the bone. I didn’t have to cut any of it. Also, its a great meal you can make and then use the left over meat for other recipes like chicken caesar salad, chicken tacos, etc. I found this recipe at allrecipes.com and then of course added some extras to it.
Ingredients
Whole chicken
1/4 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves chopped (I just use the jar of pre chopped garlic)
1 tsp of paprika
Mrs. Dash
Salt
Pepper
4 balls of aluminum (this is so the chicken doesn’t sit in its fat when cooking)
Take aluminum foil and crumple up into 4 balls, place in slow cooker. Take out all the gizzards and gross stuff from the whole chicken and then rinse with cold water. Pat dry. Then place chicken on the aluminum balls. Stuff chicken with onion and garlic. Sprinkle seasonings over chicken. Cover and cook for 8 to 10 hours. Wala all done and delicious.
My husband loved this recipe and I could see us using it almost every week its that good. Well and its really easy and takes no time at all. That helps too! I hope you enjoy!
