Homemade Natural Gift Ideas for Mother’s Day

Mother’s day is fast approaching, but luckily there is still a few days left to create something homemade, awesome, frugal, and from the heart. I wanted to give ya’ll some fantastic and pretty darn easy ideas. Can’t reveal what the hubs and I are giving to our moms for Mothers day since they read my blog! You’ll just have to wait and see!

Homemade Soap

This is a picture of my homemade goats milk soap that some people are giving away as gifts. Its to late to make a cold process soap since it take 2-4 weeks to dry but you can always find homemade soap at a farmers market or shop etsy.
Homemade candles

I used to love making candles (until I got a bird- long story). Its so easy and your really don’t need many ingredients. Here is a great tutorial to make natural beeswax candles. Soy is also a good choice. Try to stay away from paraffin wax.

  1. I love the idea of homemade soap! It is something that I want to try this year, but I am still a little nervous about it. I am thinking of making lotion bars for the mamas in my life, that should be a little easier 🙂

  2. Thanks for linking up to Make Your Move Monday. I would be happy with any or all of these gifts tomorrow. 😉
Hope to see you again next Monday!
