It’s been a little while since we have done a DIY beauty product around here. What better beauty product then a homemade natural and healing lip butter? As you may have noticed it’s really darn cold outside! And with that cold weather comes dry chapped lips. Ugh such a problem.

This lip butter has quality ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter, grated beeswax packed, and vitamin E oil (optional) to help prevent and heal your chapped lips. Don’t let the color of the butter fool you. This lip butter will still give your lips that shiny luster you love!

This lip gloss has quality ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter, bees wax, and vitamin e oil to help prevent and heal your chapped lips.

Ingredients
- 2 Tbs Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
- 1/2 Tbs Shea Butter
- 1 Tbs grated beeswax
- 10 drops Vitamin E oil optional
- 10 drops essential oil optional like
Instructions
- Place coconut oil, shea butter, and bees wax in a glass dish or mason jar. Melt in the microwave or a double boiler (or you can set a mason jar in a sauce pan filled with a few inches of water). Once the mixture is melted allow to cool completely. Mix in vitamin e oil and essential oil of your choice, and place in a container.
Notes
For tinted lip balm add a few drops of natural food coloring.

Does it stay whipped looking like in the picture or does it solidify more? I’ve been looking for an actual lip butter forever. I had one once and it was glorious. Waxy and thick and stayed on my lips overnight!
