The best part about smoothies is you can change them up however you like.
Feeling like you need some more veggies in you day? Just throw in spinach or kale. Or try my Chocolate Cauliflower Smoothie.
Want to add some healthy fats? Add avocado or coconut oil. Whatever your little heart desires!
Did I mention they are easy? I prefer to use frozen fruit since they are pre -chopped and you literally just dump them in the blender. Unless we have ripe fruit growing in our garden or course!
Honestly, I usually don’t measure anything and just pour in what I think will work and hope for the best. But for you friends I measured!

Creamy Orange Mango Smoothie FAQ:
How do you make a creamy smoothie?
There are multiple ways to make your smoothie creamy. Milk (dairy or non-dairy), cream, yogurt, or avocado can make can it creamy. Surprisingly, even some high fiber veggies, fruits, ice cubes and chia seeds can make your smoothie even more creamy.
What is the best liquid to put in a smoothie?
To keep with the healthy streak, use a liquid base that doesn’t has a lot of added sugar. My first suggestion is water, but if you want something different in taste, try Kefir, yogurt, greek yogurt, juice, unsweetened coconut milk, or almond milk.
For this recipe, I used orange juice to give it an orange flavor. Always look for a orange juice made from 100% juice with no added sugar.
There are so many different options to choose from which is why I love this healthy drink.
Are smoothies better with milk or juice?
It literally comes down to your preference of taste and texture. If you want milk, it will definitely make you smoothie creamy. Depending on what type of juice you use, it can add a lot of flavor but it may also increase your sugar intake.
Or use both!
How do you make a thicker smoothie?
You could add less liquid or add a thicker base such as greek yogurt or cottage cheese. The next decision is the right fruit for your smoothie. Bananas or avocados are good options.
Feel free to through in nuts (like nut butter), oatmeal and seeds to make the smoothie thicker as well.
